25 hours and 3500 Rhinestones later!

Yes, I am crazy. :) Just had to share though, I only have the one heel left!

They will go with this dress.

You are insane! And it turned out marvelously! Pretty dress, very different with a stunner of a back, but I'm secretly in love with that fabric, was my favorite to try on, so soft and comfortable!

    For those wondering -

It helped to space the time out. I started last July and worked on it slowly throughout the year. I think that helped to keep me sane. :)

I used gem-tack glue and 3mm crystal rhinestone, you can find it all at a craft store. I also bought some smaller rhinestones for some of the tight spaces. It also helps to get your finger tacky with a little glue. From there I just picked them up one by one and stuck them on. Using something pointy like a metal nail file to shimmy them off your finger into place works well. It gets easier as you go - but still, no small task. I usually worked on them while watching tv, a movie or on road trips.

Some people pass their veils/gowns on...my kids/grandkids better hope they have 8.5 size feet. Hehe.

Thanks for all of the kuddos, it is nice to almost be done...and with four months to spare! I thought for sure I'd be gluing the day before our wedding.
