alternative to candy bar?

hi ladies!!  wondering if anyone has an idea for an alternative to a candy bar.  something like popcorn or hot chocolate, or....???  its a december wedding in Los Angeles so i'd love to hear your ideas! thanks!

    It kind of depends on your tastes and your guests, whether they're flying, etc.  However, here are some thoughts...

    Gourmet chocolates / truffles
    Different flavor gourmet tea leaves / satchels
    Coffee bean varieties
    Dessert bar
    Home fragrance bar - droppers with scents so you can create your own

    I love it Tanq!

    Whatever you choose, it should reflect the vibe of your event. I love the hot chocolate bar idea for something a bit more elegant. You could do lots of different flavour syrups, homemade marshmallows, etc. The popcorn sounds fun, but messy, so that sounds a bit more casual to me.

    Cookies & milk bar? A chocolate bar that focuses on great quality chocolate with beans from different parts of the world (think terrior). Late night donut bar?

    We are doing a sweet and salty bar. My MOH has the cutest little saying, so we are going to quote her in a frame and put it on the bar. We're "dedicating" it to her :-)

    you could do a cupcake bar and they get to decorate the cupcakes :)

    In pittsburgh they do cookie table.  Loads of homemade cookies and its up the entire event.  Gramothers, aunts and friends make the cookies.
