enough time for pictures

Our ceremony starts at 1, and will end around 2.  the Reception starts at 4, the bridal party has to be there by 4:30.  Will this give us enough time for pictures in between at the church ( we have to be out by 3)  and then some after in a park or something?  itll be about 2 - 2 1/2 hrs. for pictures

21/2 hours is more time then we usually have. There are several factors that determine how long the photos will take. One factor is (and this is a big one), are all the people ready. We ask brides to make a short list of family shots that they want. We also ask them to give a copy of this list to a family or wedding party member who will know all the people on the list by name. This person can then 'round up' all the people on the llist (in order of the next shot). once one shot is completed, we move the new group into position and continue that process until we're finished with all the family poses - starting with the largest group and working down to the smallest. We then do the same thing for the wedding party shots until we're alone with the bride and groom so we can spean at least a litte time with them.

Also, the number of poses and the size of your wedding party plays a role in how long it will take to complete your photos. We've never taken longer then 45-one hour regardless of poses or size of wedding party.

    Good luck!

Yeah that should be plenty of time to get both great indoor and outdoor photos and still give you time to freshen up and head to the reception.  Most groups only have 45 mins to an hour.  Enjoy!
