When to Send Invitations?

Hello, ladies

I have my invites all complete and just sitting by my door looking at me. We're only inviting about 35 people, but it's an Out of Town wedding. My RSVP date is Sept 5 and wedding date is Oct 6. When do you think I should send them?

If they are done you can send them as soon as you would like to. I hope to be finished by Monday so I can mail them out (75 days)

Everyone will give you a diffrent answer here but I would say the least is 4 weeks before your RSVP date. If its a OOT event I would mail them tomorrow.

I'm an Oct 6th bride and mine have been out for a couple of weeks.

I would give your guests a month to RSVP, so send them out at the end of this week.

I'd send them now. My RSVP date is September 17th and I'm sending them out the week of August 6th.

We're getting married on 10/6/12 too and sent ours out on Friday night. We only mailed 23 but most are out of town guests. Based on the calls I got, they arrived on Saturday in most guest's mailboxes. We asked for an RSVP by 9/1/12 bu I anticipate the RSVP cards to start arriving next week - so exciting!
