OOT Bags

I went to a wedding in South carolina this weekend and in there out of town bags they had guides with things to do. Is any one doing this for NYC? I was thinking of putting subway maps but is there an easy way for me to get Time out new york or something similar with stuff to do in the city?

    Libraries often have tons of free pamphlets. Also, maybe you can check out your local college since they often have resources/ maps as well.

    You can download the OFFICIAL NYC visitors guide from that NYCGO.com  website.  You can even have multiple copies shipped to you (free + shipping and handling)

    Alternatively, you could go to this site, download the visitors guide and then copy/paste segments of it into a custom visitors guide for your guests based on the neighborhood that the wedding/reception/hotels are in.

    The NYC visitors bureau used to have a storefront near times square, not sure if they still do, you used to be able to go there and pick up guides, maps, etc.

    Thanks I called the number on the NYCGO website and can pick up multiple books from the visitor center. It is $10 per 25 books to ship them so I think I am going to pick them up when FI and I go get our rings in a couple weeks.

    We are doing Manhattan maptotes for our OOT bags for our Aug. wedding and including a local NY wine, water bottles (the ones from Duane Reade which say something like NYC water), advil, local candies, apples, subway maps (go to the larger stations), and the NYC condom.  We are also including our itinerary, things to do, and a welcome note!
