Why is it so impossible to find a pair of pretty, comfortable high heels for my small 5 1/2 shoe size feet that don't cost almost as much as my dress?
I ordered 7 different pairs from Zappos, all of which I'm about to return because I don't want to go to the emergency room with a sprained ankle on my wedding day.. searched and searched online... found out about Angela Nuran so I thought, finally, a light!
I went into Kleinfeld yesterday and tried on the Angela Nuran... they were cute, more comfortable than most, but still a bit wobbly for me. and at close to $300, I don't want to just settle for ok. I saw a pair of Filippa Scott that were super cute and has lots of cushioning as well but Kleinfeld didn't have it in my size. So I went on an adventure around Manhattan to search for just the right pair of Filippa Scott!
Getting close right? Not exactly...
The smallest size they make, it turns out, is 5 1/2 which feels more like a 6 and are too big! So now I'm back to square 1.
Any thoughts, fellow brides? Note: My fiance is 6'2 and I'm 5' on my best days. So mid heels or flats just won't do. Also note: I tried on a pair of 4 inch platform Jimmy Choos at Kleinfeld and they have been THE most comfortable and natural feeling shoes thusfar!!! But $500+!?! I just can't bring myself to do it!
Help please!
