I did.  It say's non-refundable.  I hoping they would make an exception, because we are so far out.  Do you think they would?

I honestly don't know, I didn't get married there, I didn't even look there. I think it would be up to them. I would think that if they can get someone else to fill the spot, they would give back your deposit. If they won't, maybe you could ask if you could use the deposit towards something else, like the rehearsal dinner or something. Or cut your guest list down.

I would call them tomorrow, if you know for sure that you won't be using them.  Good luck!

They hold 170, but it is going to be tight with that amount.  I am going to contact them today and find out if he would be able to do anything for me.  Either I get the guest list down or...?  Thank you for your help.

Are you sure it's only 170? We looked into having ours there and were told it could accommodate up to 200 with the outside deck.

Stupid question... are you inviting 200? Because it is seriously unlikely that if you invite 200, more than 170 will come. I do think you'll lose your deposit, but I also think this isn't going to be an issue (unless 200 is the number you expect to come and not the number you're inviting). Just a thought.
