  That stinks!  Did you have a contract with the photographer!?  At least it was now and not too terribly last minute!!!
  
   I would try Christa Harder Photography (www.christaharder.com). She travels all over SC and doesn't charge extra fees, plus her work is incredible.

  unfortunatly not....she is kind of just starting out but does pretty good work and her price was pretty good....the way she did it was so unprofessional though...but like you said, better it happend now then later!  Iwill def. check out this person! thankyou so much!

  Oh my!  That is so stressful!!  It is good that you found out she was flakey sooner rather than later.  We just had our engagement shoot this past weekend with Lance Elzie.  The pictures were amazing and we had a great time too!  I highly recommend him, very professional but laid-back and easy to deal with.  He is based in Charleston but I'm pretty sure he shoots weddings all over the state.

  Hey, ladies. I usually post on the October 2011 boards, but I just popped over here today. I'm sorry about your photographer! That is a bummer! Check these guys out, www.yourpricelesspics.com. I'm pretty sure they will travel & their highest package is $2,500, and with that you will get two photographers for the day of!!!  I'm using them too and they are fantastic!
