Marriage certificate-- Racine

Can anyone tell me how I get my marriage certificate in Racine? Do I have to go and pick it up or will they mail it to me?

    I believe you have to be there in person (the two of you) to get it.

    If you're talking about applying for your marriage license (pre-wedding) then you both have to go there. If you're talking about copies of your marriage certificate (post-wedding) then you can mail in a form and I believe they can mail you the copies with a SASE.

    This is the process in Milwaukee County.  The Register of Deeds is the office you get the certified marriage certificate from after the signed license was filed by the officiant.
