AW: We bought a house!

For those who don't know, FI and I made an offer on a BRAND NEW house Sunday night. The builder countered, we countered back, they countered again, and we accepted. They are paying all closing costs, giving us a refrigerator, washer, and dryer, changing the bi-fold doors in the laundry area to french doors at their expense, and giving us a $750 furniture certificate. Closing is estimated to be May 19. AAAAAAH! I'm so excited! Thanks to everyone who has been praying!

That's awesome. Our house was new construction when I bought it (before DH was in the picture) and it was so much fun picking everything out and going there every week to see the progress. Most of the extras that I picked (and paid for) were well worth it. Have fun with the process!!

When do they start construction (or is it already built)?

Haha, I have to go get some pics now! I told my aunt (who just asked me) that I kind of want to wait for the builder's staging company to move out their furniture before I take pics, because the pics will look odd with "MODEL HOME COME SEE!" signs in the front yard and furniture that isn't ours in every room of the house, lol. Plus they have to put in the refrigerator, washer, dryer, and laundry area doors. But as soon as that is done I will get some pics up!

OK, so model home signs or not, I plan to go tonight and get pics.

@JoesGIrl, sorry I didn't see your question! It is already built. We considered for about 5 seconds buying the one next door that isn't finished yet so we could pick everything, but I like the floorplan of ours better.
