Vegas Brides with weddings at a Country and Golf Club

Brides,

I'm interested in having my wedding in Vegas minus the 'The Strip' feel. I've looked at several Country Clubs and Golf Clubs in the area, but I'm not sure which to chose; all of their pricing are so different. If any of you have or will get married at a GC/CC in Vegas, please tell me about your experience, how many guest attended, the price, and what was included in the price. Thanks!!

Hi there! What places have you looked at so far? We got married at the Revere Golf Club in Henderson and had an amazing experience there. We had looked at Canyon Gate, Bear's Best, and Rio Secco, along with a few other venues (not golf courses). The view from the Revere is incredible and we felt that their packages really fit with what we were looking for. They're also very flexible if there are certain things you'd want to change. I'd be happy to give you more info if you would like!

I've looked at all those you mention, but haven't come across the venue you chose. I also looked at Los Pados...did you look at that venue? Please send me more information and thanks for responding!!!

We had our reception in March at the Black Mountain Golf & Country Club in Henderson.  We were so happy with everything.  They took care of the food, linens (including chair covers), centerpieces, and hiring the DJ and photographer (I got to talk and plan with both the DJ & photographer as well).  Pretty much the only thing they didn't cover was the cake since they don't have a baker on staff, but we got our cake from the Albertson's grocery store around the corner.  We had about 140 guests show up.

    Hi!

I am getting married 9/3 at Cili at the Bali Hai Golf Golf.  It is located right at the end of the strip near the sign and reminds me of a tropical paradise!

So far, everything has gone swimmingly.  Kathy, the WC at Cili is great. We are having about 70 people and everything except photography is included.  Most guest are staying at MB b/c it's a stones throw away.

Cili is what I was looking for to fulfill having a Vegas wedding with a tropical feel.  Highly recommend.

PM me if you have any other questions!  Also check out cili.com

Besides the different food / alcohol options, our package included linens, centerpieces (if you want to use theirs), a $5/per person credit towards the cake at Freed's, and DJ - you had two different companies to choose from.  We had 84 guests, they waived the room setup fees as long as we had a certain number of guests (can't remember what that number was but we had more).  We also got a discount for having the wedding on a Friday instead of a Saturday.  If you'd like to see the pics from our wedding, here's the link:  http://jamesdiane5611.shutterfly.com/

It is definitely a gorgeous venue!!! However, its $135/pp...I wonder if I can put on my negotiator hat and get them down a bit on this price. <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-money-mouth.gif" border="0" alt="Money mouth" title="Money mouth" />

Thank you!! So we actually got our guests a great room rate at Green Valley Ranch, which was about 15 minutes from the Revere. We hired AWG for our guest shuttles,, which came highly recommended but we had an awful experience with them. That was actualy the only vendor I was unhappy with. but another bride used them and everything was great, so we may have just been really unlucky...
