Back in High School

Is it just me or does anyone else feel like they're back in high schoolon some of these boards? There are a group of women who feel like it's their personal obligation to tell everyone exactly how they think it should be (and apparently that's the only option). It definitely makes me think twice about posting any questions because people usually just get put down. Also, I feel like a lot of these women are already married; time to fill out the "Wedding Recap" and move on!

I know what you mean!!! I only tend to post on the May board. I must admit the ladies on this board are super sweet and helpful whenever someone has a question. I just don't see why people have to be so darn mean all the time...

The rebuttal is always if you don't like it go to another wedding website (that's ridiculous) how about just show some class and don't be rude to everyone who's not in the imaginary "cool girl" circle.

Ditto those feelings. When I am board I will read some of the other boards and sit back and laugh at how petty some people can be. Life is too short to be so mean. Opinions can alawys be given in a respectful manner.

I tend to avoid posting on other boards because I know I take stuff too personally and some of them are really good at cutting people down. I love it here!

First let's be honest here this is the Internet you post something an someone will always say something whether or not you like it etc. that is just how the internet works for this reason I only post in May and my hometown board

I definitely understand that it's the internet and you take your chances, I just think some ladies are uncovering their inner mean girl they were or never got to be in high school!

There have definitely been threads that go too far with other posters being mean. But I honestly think a good chunk of it is the OP's opinion or idea not being validated and then they lash out on the others for not agreeing with them.

I personally avoid the Etiquette and Getting In Shape boards but mostly post here and my local board. Sometimes I post on Budget, DIY & Plus Size.

I agree too. The funny thing is that some of those ladies actually have a valid point at times, but the way they say it is just awful. It really bothers me when someone tells someone else how rude or tacky they are by being rude or tacky themselves. You can't correct someone else's manners by using poor manners yourself. Lol

I only post here and home board. Some of the boards can be sooo rude! I was suprised even on the Catholic board too. I mean I am not the best practing catholic, but geez when I ask a question don't look down on me!
