in October 2013 Weddings
Today is my Friday and I don't have to work until Monday (it'll be very nice since I just worked 25 hours at my serving job this last weekend and 43 at my full time job), but I want the day to go fast.

So what are your plans for this weekend? We are going upnorth to FI's parents cottage. Just the two of us, which will be so nice since we haven't had a weekend since October just the two of us. The pups are staying with my MOH for the weekend. We plan on hitting up a casino one night (we don't really gamble so we stated $20 limit each). We also plan on going snow shoeing if the weather stays around the freezing mark and not go up.

Thursday my mom and I are putting our centerpieces together since we will both be off.
Friday I will be going to breakfast with my MOH, taking the dogs to the park to release their energy, and then cleaning/packing so we can leave right when FI gets home from work.

Anything exciting going on in life?

    I've always wanted to go snowshoeing, but FI says we need more snow to really do it - NJ doesn't have a whole lot of snow lately. (He wants to register at REI and I told him I'm putting snowshoes on the registry for us!)

    Lucky you having all those days off! Sounds like you will have a nice time.

    This weekend, maybe we will get to REI to register. On Friday, his church has a lenten dinner that we are going to, and I also have my first dress fitting! It's early, but it's still exciting.

    My sister had a baby on February 26th, so I'm sure I will be at her house this weekend helping her and visiting.

    And, I could be convinced to purchase wedding bands. He will probably use his father's, but we have been meaning to go look for a while and maybe this weekend it will happen!

    On top of that, I plan to do a lot of knitting! I started a sweater for myself and am making good progress.

    We're going down to the aquarium in Chattanooga on Saturday! We haven't been there since July, so we're past due for an aquariuming.

    We have a lot going on!

    Tomorrow we are giong to look at a house that we are possibly interested in buying (woohoo! that means we won't have to live with the FILs for very long!)

    And Friday I have a half day at work and we are driving down to St Louis to visit our friend (one of my BMs). I am really excited! She's been down there for a few years and we haven't made it yet, and now she is graduating in May and will be probably moving back home. Talk about waiting until the last minute. :-/

    I love this BTW. Is it another thing that is regional to Wisconsin, saying that you're going 'upnorth'?

    Have so much fun!! I have never been snow shoeing but it looks like so much fun, and good exercise outdoors which is hard to come by!

    Snow shoeing sounds like fun!! It's 60 degrees here, so all hopes of any snow are gone. :(

    FI and I don't have much planned for this weekend...just a bike ride around the lake. I'm hoping to finish up this pinterest project (clicky) this weekend...it looked like it would be easy, but it's taking waaaay longer than I was hoping it would. At least it's giving me lots of sewing practice before I try to make the tablecloths for the cocktail tables at my reception!

    On a REALLY exciting note, they finally release the Big East 2013 football schedule! FI and I want to get married at the chapel on campus where we both went to school, but they don't let you book fall weddings until the football schedule is released. And our wedding date is an away game, so we can book the chapel! Yay!

    That is exciting. I am waiting on the NFL schedule to come out to block our hotels. If there is a home packer game, I am screwed. The draft starts April 25 and according to online, the schedule comes our before that. So month/month and a half we will find out.

    Playing the waiting game is hard though...I've been checking for the football schedule daily since beginning of February, so I feel your pain!

    Weekend plans... Uhhhh.... Taxes? Sewing projects, cleaning... Not sure about wedding prep yet. BUT I did make the deposit on the DJ last night, and the bakery just now! Yaaaaaay! So, at least we'll have music and cake at our reception, lol! The caterer is currently being a pain... He said on Monday when I called him that he would email me a menu & pricing yesterday. Didn't. So I called him (again). I'm about to bring my annoying side to the table with him if he doesn't shape up...

    I honestly had trouble remembering myself because it came up SO FAST! I even forgot to make arrangements for Goober, thank goodness my parents are awesome and can take him with literally 4 days notice.

    I have no idea what we will be doing either, I need to talk to my BM! She apparently has everything planned out though. I guess there's a crepe place involved, and the City Museum?
