Honeymoon

Has anyone looked at Living Social as a choice to book their honeymoon? I was considering it and wanted to know thoughts. They have really good deals!

That's what my FI and I are doing. We're just going to save money and wing it until a couple months before the wedding and look in Living Social and Groupon. If nothing strikes our interest, we will just go back to Asheville, NC because we LOVE it there.

I am planning in NC mountains. I live in NC and have never been to the mountains. Looking into Angel Cabins. Know people who have stayed there and the views appear to be gorgeous AND hoping the leaves are still turning the first week of October and we can watch from out hot tub on the deck

You know, I had always wanted to go somewhere warm and tropical on our HM but after reading your description of what your HM will be like, I may have to reconsider! A hot tub on a deck, in the mountains, overlooking fall foliage...sounds AMAZING!

We were going to take an extended honeymoon -one week on an island and another in the mountains- but FI will never be able to get that much consecutive time off from work. After looking at pics of those mountain cabins though (not in NC, on the other side in TN), FSILs and I are working on a family trip out there. One cabin for grandparents and children, and the other for mamas and papas who need a BREAK haha!

They are beautiful, good choice :)

<div>We were looking into cabins that are in TN for a honeymoon! So funny that this sounds exactly like what we were looking into! I have never been to the mountains and neither has my FI so it would be a new experience. :)</div>

I always thought some place I would never go and exotic - but like I said before I want to come and go as I please and not have to keep a schedule for that week - if i want to stay in bed - i will - if i just want to relax in the hot tub - in a fairly secluded cabin we can - and not have to worry about excursions - and running to see things because it will be a long time before I ever see it again
Mountains are still kind of exotic because i have never been even though i ave loved here since 1993
