Has anybody used this travel agent to book their honeymoon or any other getaways?

    I met with her and she is based out of her house.  We were looking for something different and were a bit disappointed.  She knows a lot about Sandals resorts though.

    I have booked a trip with her but I'm not sure I would recommend her. I have traveled quite a bit in the past and have planned every trip on my own but for the honeymoon I knew I wouldn't have time to devote to planning it the way I normally would so when I met her a bridal show, she seemed to know quite a bit about Fiji (where we're going) and had actually been there I thought I'd give her a chance.

    She took a very long time to get pricing back to me for different options because she always had to wait for quotes to come through a wholesaler, which means they also recommend the same resorts over & over. I ended up doing a lot of research on different resorts on my own anways and by the time she got the pricing to me that I needed, the resort I wanted was already fully booked.

    My only warning would be just to be aware that just because she is a travel agent doesn't mean she knows the best way to do things. I found her to be quite uninformed when it came to different flight options for getting to Los Angeles and different airline partnerships, etc. If you're going somewhere like an all inclusive in the Caribbean just book it yourself through Apple Vacations or Funjet. Otherwise do your own research on Trip Advisor.

    Interesting! Thanks all! I spoke with her briefly at a wedding show and she seemed knowledgeable in that short encounter, but I was having trouble finding reviews on her.  Any other travel agents/agencies you'd recommend for honeymoons?

    Run in the other direction my SIL used her and it was a living nightmare.She pretends she knows everything and her whole honeymoon turned into a disaster. She mis-informed her in many ways and things got messed up. Hoppe said she knew the resort manager, all lies, the manager didn't even know her let aone help us.
    Big turn-off and like I said run in the other way.

    If you want to use the crabbiest TA ever, call her. She'll pressure you, call you, email you beyond belief. I obviously didn't book with this TA but couldn't get away from her.
    There has to be a few hundred better choices out there.
