My shower was yesterday =)

My shower was yesterday and a complete surprise. The venue was beautiful, everyone I wanted to be there was able to make it, and I was blessed with a beautiful day with family and friends filled with love and laughter. I can't wait to go through our pile of gifts again today! Did anyone else have a shower yesterday?

I went to a shower yesterday for another bride and it was...interesting. The bride was an hour an a half late. There were TWO professional photographers complete with lighting. The bride announced she's pregnant. It lasted more than four hours. An then All but myself and two others bought her lingerie. I guess I must have had a hunch she was preggers and wouldn't need the sexy nightie.

I had one of mine yesterday too! My FMIL hosted it at a nice restaurant. The food was great, the cake was yummy and I was so greatful that everyone was able to come.

Glad you had fun. I had mine today and it was wonderful...everyone was so generous. My cousin also had hers today (big family drama way back when) and I have a funny feeling she was disappointed with hers. It ended up having to be moved from a golf course to the MOH's house because there weren't enough people. I had over 70 people at mine (only 8 of us would have been mutual guests and 5 of them made appearances at both) so I don't think the 3 of us would have made an impact. She hasn't put anything on fb about her shower today except commenting on something another cousin put. I decided to be the big person and say "hope yours was great" and I got "Thanks, you too" but she hasn't commented on my pictures or status or anything which is unlike her. Either way, I had a great time at mine and wouldn't change a thing!
