They are a wedding cake company.
I went back and forth with this company for a month, trying to make a tasting appointment. We finally confirmed and our appointment was at 10am. There was a questionaire we were required to fill out before our appointment. We completely filled out the form answering everything we had wanted inculding food allergies and such.
We drove 40 minutes to arrive on time. When we arrived the receptionist was asking everything we had wanted. She tried to talk me out of what I wanted. Then it was obvious she was stalling trying to fill time, becuase she kept asking the same questions over and over again which were already answered on the questionaire in front of her. Then in her stall of time, she was questionning why we didn't want to try strawberry filling. We had explained there was a food allergy. She went on about how she thought it was wierd.
Meanwhile ten minutes into the appointment and still no cakes. We had stepped out to the lobby so she can get in touch with her baker and staff to check on there whereabouts. 10 minutes later she came out to the lobby and invited us back in.
At this time she stated , gosh I don't know where everyone is, I can't get in touch with anyone. It is now 1030. 30 minutes after our appointment time. At this point we told her, that this was a red flag and how could we expect this not to happen on our wedding day. We had told her we were leaving. She basically said bye!.
She didn't say anything at that point to try to keep our business. and it has been 2 weeks and I still haven't received any contact from them. Clearly this is a standard practice for them.
