AW: OOT Bags

I think I am about over and done with DIY projects (after the invites and programs). But we have family coming in from all over (England, Kenya, Florida, DC, Texas, etc.) so we decided to welcome them with a little goodie type of bag... I haven't actually filled them yet but I decided to go ahead and start with making the bags.


(I don't know why this is sideways... I think it looks better in person anyway...)




I think I am going to put the following in the bag:
packs of tissue
welcome letter
snacks (cookies and crackers)
water
a fun little athens activity
brochures and maps from the welcome center place
candy
puppy chow (a UGA sweet snack)

I will probably save the stuffing and creation of the rest of the bags for my next BM workday...lol...

Are any of you making OOT bags? What are you putting in them?

    I am making oot bags but I haven't planned that far what to put in them. those are good things you are putting in your bags ...sounds great.

    I'm making OOT bags too. Like you I'm sooooo over DIY projects, programs/fans, invitations, luggage tags, pomander balls for my BM's

    I like what you are including. We are probably gonna do
    A Vegas map, so they know where the main events are
    Water
    Ibuprofen
    Playing cards
    events going on in Vegas
    poker chips
    luggage tags
    and maybe a few other things

    Here's what I put in mine:
    *Popcorn
    *Water
    *Chips
    *Cookies
    *Candy
    *Map of the city
    *A list of things to do here
    *Coupons to different restaurants
    *Weddding weekend schedule
    *Welcome letter

    I think that's it lol!

    Sweets, are those sticky labels to be attached to the OOT bags? II swear I have not an a drop of DIY blood in me - I'm so jealous of you ladies who do DIY projects

    No they aren't labels it is just layered cardstock. I am tying them on with gray ribbon and then just adding a piece of double stick tape for them to stick at the angle.
