Vineyard Venue HELP!

Hi to all my wives-to-be!  My fiance and I are looking for a unique venue that isn't your typical catering hall that offers fish, chicken or beef.  We like vineyards, castles, and anything different that one can suggest.  We'll even consider restaurants, museums, etc.  Ideally, we want to have it at my family's home but problem is ... my family is from Orange County NY; his from Queens, NY.  We ideally would like something in between but are open to any suggestions for Orange, Rockland, Westchester or Long Island.

HELP!

What is your budget?  "Different" usually equals more expensive

If you dont have too many people - edith macy in briarcliff manor is very outdoorsy feeling and you have a private building, nothing fancy inside but the view of the lake and scenery is amazing.
