Hello ladies! Newbie here :)

After a courtship that spanned nearly 2 decades (we me when we were locker neighbors in 6th grade!) I am officially engaged to my best friend and the love of my life! He proposed at 2:30 AM on February 22nd moments before we walked out the door of our brand new home (we moved in 1 week before) on our way to the airport for DisneyWorld so I could run the Princess Half Marathon over my 28th birthday weekend! We are planning an August 17th, 2013 wedding and recently booked the Colony Club in Detroit for our ceremony and reception. We are over the moon and excited to start our lives together!
Personally, I am looking forward to getting to know some of the wonderful women on this board and planning the most amazing day of our lives!

Welcome. The Colony Club is just up the block from where I live and I've been to a wedding there. It's lovely.
