I just went for my 3rd dress fitting. thinking that I might be able to take my dress home today but turns out I lost weight (its been 2 weeks since my last fitting) so my dress was too big. So now they have to take the dress in again and its costing me another $80 (on top of the intitial $380 i paid at first). I've been trying so hard to maintain my weight so I wouldnt have to have it taken in any more but alas I failed. But I guess thats what I get for working 19 days straight (in a bread bakery as a baker) and being a mom of a very energetic 3 year old boy, I can only imagine how I will be next week when it will be 27 days in a row. Lets hope I dont loose anymore weight because there will be no more time to fix it. Guess this means I can eat chocolate and fried chicken guilt free
I would have been happy if this happend before the fittings started or after the wedding when loosing the weight didnt mean loosing more money. I mean im still happy because I am now finally down to my prebaby weight (I've been stuck with the last 5-10lbs) but slightly bummed because of its timing. Good thing I budgeted for unexpected expenses.
