    Good morning!!!  Jessie, I can't believe you only have 4 days to go!  I know you are super excited!  I'm hoping to get something WR accomplished today.  It's been a hectic last several days, but I just keep telling myself that this too shall pass!!!

    I cannot stand drama, and I have had my fair share of drama-filled days since last Wednesday.  First, FI calls me on Wednesday from work and tells me that he has cut his finger and is on the way to urgent care because they can't get it to stop bleeding.  So, I meet him up there, and a box cutter has taken a nice chunk of his finger off.  So, the doctor cauterizes (burns) it to stop the bleeding.  Then, he goes back to work to fill out all the necessary paperwork and then goes home.  On Friday, he meets me at work and tells me that they let him go because this is the third time this sort of thing has happened since he started there.

    So, needless to say, it's been a little bit depressing since we are paying for our wedding and now only one of us has a job to do that and nothing is completely paid for yet.  Did I mention that the big day is in 2 months?!  So last night, we went to have the dreaded talk with my parents and fill them in on the news.  My parents have always been hard on FI about jobs.  But, it went better than expected.  And thankfully, my mom has offered to help pay for anything that we can't pay for in full by then.  She's the best! 

    So, please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.  I know that this will get better!

    Morning Ladies.  first off Jessie... wow, only 4 days!  CRAZY!!  I know everything is going to be great!!  and be careful driving to Charlotte!!

    Leigh Ann, I am so sorry to hear about your FI.  I hope everything works out, but that is really great that your mom has offer to help!   I will be thinking about you, and let us know if there is anything we can do to help!

    Leigh Anne - Yikes! Hope everything improves quickly!

    Finally getting the 2nd half of invitations out today...I suppose then I will mailbox stalk for the next several weeks.  Haha

    Finally registered for my MBA class for the fall.  I've been doing it part time for about 3 years now and with scheduling have had two semesters off including this one.  I'm kind of dreading going back in the fall...the commute from Lake Wylie, SC to Matthews, NC is NO fun...especially when I'm going home at 9:30 at night.  I'm doing it at Wingate University's Matthews Campus. Managerial Accounting here I come!

    Meeting with the Pastor that's marrying us tomorrow.  I've never met him before...he's FI's old youth pastor who now has his own church in Kings Mountain.  Our "test" results were back and we will be going over those and the outline of the ceremony.  Exciting!

    Yay Tuesday. It's one day closer to the weekend.

    Nothing too eventful for me today. I took Rufus to the lab this morning where he promptly pooed in my boss's office. Niiiiice. They were the ones that asked me to bring him in today, so....I took him home early because I'll have to go back later to help with a spur of the moment 'emergancy' in the lab. No idea when I'll be getting home. Fun.

    Other than that I'm still trying to wade through all the wedding decorations & presents & get organized.

    Leigh Ann, I hope that everything works out with your FI and your wedding. It's great that your mom is helping out at least - must take a bit of the stress off knowing there's a backup just in case. I have faith everything will work out just fine for the two of you. Be strong & know you have knottie support anytime you need it!

    Jessie! 4 days! omgosh I know you are so excited! :o)

    Leigh Ann, that really sucks about your FI. Given the legal aspects that go along with a work related incident though, I don't think they can legally fire him. It may be in your best interest to check into that. Please let us know if we can help in anyway.

    Malea, yay for getting the rest of your invites out! :o) I need to do the same!

    Leigh Ann, I am so sorry to hear about your FI. I agree with Holly, that is ridiculous.  I hope there is something you can do about that.
