Picked the florist and DJ this weekend!  Just need to finalize the contract and send the deposits this week.

Check and check!  :-)

Momentary feeling of progress until I realize how much I still have to do!  lol

So I think next on the list is figure out limos and block hotel rooms.

I will be bridesmaid dress shopping early Feb (hopefully that's not too late!) and tasting and menu planning with caterer by the end of this month.  Also epics end of this month with ordering of STDs shortly there after.

Oh...and need to see if I can book my hair dresser too....so much!   :-)

    Our bridesmaid dresses should come in 3 months from being ordered - so February should be fine. (The brand is Bill Levkoff)

    I got my BM's jewelry ordered/bought this weekend. That is my only check. I worked all weekend so I didn't have time for anything else.

    We put our guest list into Excel and spoke briefly with FI's cousins regarding them doing the dj'ing at the wedding.  They did FI's sister's wedding last summer, and they said that would be our wedding gift to us!  So excited!

    snippet - sometimes it just works like that, the first one is it .  glad you found what you love (after all, it's about what you love, not mom :-) )

    I got no wedding planning done this weekend, even though I went to a bridal show yesterday with a coworker (she's getting married a month after I am, they're having a destination wedding). But I need to call the hotels and block rooms... I'm hoping they won't say no... We're getting married on the north side of Indy, and Lucas Oil is close by... (I've been reading through your hotel room booking woes, Stina.)

    I'm waiting on my email proof from WPD, hopefully I get that today or tomorrow.

    I wrote out all of my STD..well minus a few that I am still waiting on addresses
    My SIL (MOH) made some sample wedding invatiations..she is crafty..I know if I like something or dont..
    My brother worked on our website.  I got a preview today and I love it.  Our "how we met story" he made into a mad libs for our guest to help "write the story"  I will show when the site is live
