Having trouble getting the WP to coroperate

I told all the BM and MOH that positions and prices of the dresses before christmas. No 1 went to pay on their dress or get fitted at DB. But they Have to be paid in full by 10th of Feb. to get them back by the last of May. The wedding is June 16,2012. Since then I've sent another message trying to see if anyone needs to step down please don't wait until 10th. Well i found out 1 lost their job and i replaced her with someone that i had for backup. Which gave me their money but wanted me to go do their dress w/o them,but i told them you need to go so your measurements will be correct. The flowergirl dresses have been bought. They get 20 dollars off and it can only go in layaway if its in the store the exact size and over 100 dollars. So they making this very difficult. What am I to do? I am trying not to be a Bridezilla. Because its not me.

You wedding is june, this is the october board fyi. And yes you sound like an absolute bridezilla ! As if your friend did not feel bad enough for loosing a job you kick them out of your wedding you must be a really great friend.

She must have heard how great this board is and came here anyways :)

Now OP, kicking someone out of the WP is a friendship ending move...everyone will tell you that. Then to replace them is more offensive and also offensive to your back up who "Wasnt good enough to make the cut but now they'll do since I'm in a pinch." That is the message that asking them to be a replacement sends. Having uneven sides is totally okk! if anyone else happens to step down please do not replace them.

Also pepole have busy lives and no one will be as excited for you wedding as you are, that being said maybe buying a BM dress is not as high up on their priority list as it is on your.

You dont need to ask them if they are stepping down, you reminded them once now its their responsibility. They are adults they will get the dress and if not then they have removed themselves. Case closed.

If they have until Feb 10 they still have 10 more days to pay in full. Maybe they are saving up the money and will go in when they have it all. Replace your friend with one you had as a back up is very rude to both women for so many reasons.

Did you ask your BMs if they were comfortable with the price? Also, do not replace any WP members, that us extremely rude. My BM ordered her dress at the beginning of this month and it's already in from DB.
