Name Change in Pennsylvania

I am looking for some guidance on changing my name. Is there anyone here from Pennsylvania that has been through it? At first I thought it looked easy and now I am not so sure!

I haven't been through it, but I am from PA and will be doing it eventually. Sorry I don't have any info for you now though.

One thing to think about: The Social Security Administration will now accept a same-sex Massachusetts wedding as proof of a name change. You might check with the Pennsylvania motor vehicles department to see whether such a change of name would be respected in Pennsylvania based on the new Social Security card, even though Pennsylvania does not recognize the marriage as such.
