Gelato at the reception

Does anyone know of any Gelato places that will cater. Looking for them to come to our reception at the knickerbocker. I want them to bring the cart so the gelato would be on display?

I will be watching this post because I am looking for the same thing!! I haven't looked into it too closely yet. I had thought about bringing in my own from a local store but that would be a nightmare I think. The cart would be ideal!

So, I was at the farmers market at Daley Plaza yesterday and there was a gelato vendor there with what looked like a mobile cart. I don't know the name though, sorry! Next time I go, I'll try to see who the business is.

Why not just start calling gelato places?

Fi and I joke about wanting to open a gourmet grilled cheese/funnel cake/gelato shop. haha! My sis and I went to Italy last year and ate gelato twice a day. I was literally in nutella gelato withdrawal when we got back...

Istria Cafe in Hyde Park -- I worked there once upon a time and catered a few events! They have great gelato and will work with you for the flavors you want...

Paciugo will do a cart - I had them put a proposal together for my wedding (ages ago) and they were somewhat reasonable. We ended up going with late night pizza instead.
