Two Centuries of Wedding Gowns at the Art Museum

Did anyone go to the Cincinnati Art Museum's exhibit, Two Centuries of Wedding Gowns?  What did you think of it?  I really enjoyed it.  Wanted to see what other ladies thought.

I went with one of my bridesmaids this past Saturday. I loved it! The exhibit is over at the end of January, so if you plan to go, make plans SOON!

I went today.  I was shocked at how busy it was!  It was a great exhibit though.  I also loved seeing Steph Carsons pictures included.  I recognized a few (HRParker was in it!).

I LOVED the Vera Wang with the feather bottom, but the one made out of gloves was just... odd.  How would you even walk in it?  Great way to spend a girls day though!

just got back from the museum! WOW!!!

that was a really cool exhibit. i loved the mix of designer and non-designer dresses. it was great to see how the upper class AND middle/lower class dressed for their weddings. i also like seeing how different elements of dresses from hundreds of years ago are still used in the design of modern styles.

that glove one was very odd. my favorite was probably the 1960s white and gold dress that was short and had a high neckline.
