  I've heard that Ashton Gardens, because they do so many weddings in one day, isn't as private. There can literally be a girl in a room next door putting on her dress during your ceremony.
  Otherwise, I haven't been to either place, that's the only information I have.

  I know little about either.  Personally I prefer the overall look of Room on Main.  And like the PP, knowing that Ashton does more than one wedding a day would be a deal-breaker for me.  However, it is nice to have both the ceremony and reception in one place.  So do you want convenience or to spend less, that is the question.
  
  Food is important to me too but unfortunately I can't help.

  Ashton Gardens is very pretty but you wil feel very rushed on wedding day and the time crunch.

  
  

  I've seen 3 weddings and a rehearsal happen there in one day.  If that's not a problem and you don't mind that then go for Ashton Gardens.

  
  

  The Room on Main is very pretty but yeah if you want the ceremony/reception in the same place that would be a deal breaker.

  
  

  We can info you the info but when it comes down to it, it's your decision.  You have to pic the one that goes best with your wedding vision.

  I love the Room on Main. If you are worried about having the Ceremony and Reception in the same place, the staff makes the transition seamlessly. I have seen two weddings here (both having ceremony and reception). There is PLENTY of room (whether 100 or 200 guests or more). I think the venue is one of my dream venues (and they only do one event a day!).

  I'm getting married at The Room on Main on October 5th..  You have to use their caterer, CN Catering, and they are amazing!!  I had a tasting with them and absolutely LOVED everything they had us try. 
  
  aeliza06.. I'd love to see any pictures you have/hear more about how the transitions worked at the weddings you saw there.  I'm a little concerned about how it will all work out myself..

  I have seen a wedding where they had the ceremony on the left side of the room. The bride walked out of the bridal room and the rest of the wedding party walked out of the main doors. The tables were in the middle and on the right side of the room. During the cocktail hour (there were plenty of cocktail tables in the area of the room where the bar is/by the door), the staff moved the tables and chairs. Honestly, they were so smooth about it, no one noticed. The tables were moved so that the center of the room was the dance floor. So there were tables on the left and right side of the room. The chairs from the ceremony were moved to the tables. 

  
  

  The second wedding I went to was a bit larger (around 200 people) and they had the tables already in place on the left and right side of the room. The ceremony was in the center. The bride walked from the bridal room and the rest of the wedding party from the center. After the ceremony, the chairs were moved to the tables. Again, cocktail hour was towards the bar area. No one noticed the staff working. This wedding did have a send-off. Everyone went downstairs and sent the bride and groom off from there.
