Ceremony Officiant

I'm having a hard time choosing a ceremony officiant for my wedding. After looking back through old posts here and reviews on weddingwire, it seems like the most reviewed and recommended officiants were Damian King and Fr. Stephen of the Holy Angels and Saints Old Catholic Church.

Does anyone have any experience with either of them or have any officiant advice in general? This decision has me stumped.

    We chose Damian for our wedding.  When we met with him in person he left a warm fuuzy feeling with us and his enthusiam is contagious. I think that he will do a wonderful job keeping everyone at ease during the ceremony.  We also mentioned that we would like to keep the ceremony fun and upbeat; he is onboard with that as well.

    As a service (at an additional cost, of course this is wedding talk, haha) Damian offers his Marriage Foundations classes.  We did 3 sessions and had a good experience.  It allowed fh and I to talk about subjects that otherwise might have remained untouched.  If you have the cash, I would recommend the classes.

    We also hired Damian before hiring our wedding coordinator and we were happy to find that he and the wedding planner knew one another.  Our wedding planner had great things to say on Damians behalf.

    I had a really hard time picking an officiant but then someone on here recommended William (Bill) Glazer. He is so amazing! He is so nice and does amazing wedding vows! The minute I met him I knew I wanted him to be our officiant! Not to mention, he is super affordable, which I found really hard to find with other officiants. He also doesn't make you go through any classes or anything! You should shoot him an email, it is marrymecolumbus@live.com.

    Oh and I forgot to mention - Bill will come to your rehearsal dinner the night before to do a run through with you for no additional charge! :)
