  My coworker is using them (haha!  she ended up on a porn site at work trying to access their website from the office!)
  
  I don't know her exact deal, but I would be curious about the digital negatives in your package.  Are they all of the images from your day; how many do they say they'll shoot?  How many are retouched?  If you want to blow up a nice print for your home or for your parents, you will need the toughed up photo. n my opinion, a lot of what you're paying for in photography is not only the photographer's ability to capture a good image, but to clean it up with software.
  
  Do an early mock timeline and make sure you are comfortable with 9 hours of coverage.  I started at 10 and jumped to 16.  Does the second shooter count in the hours, so if both were there at the same time, the who time you'd get 4.5 really, or are both there all day long?

  good points, thanks. I'm pretty sure he said the 2nd photographer was there all day also, but I have to double check.

  Not true. If you have a quality photographer with a good camera, your photos won't all need to be retouched.

  That sounds like a GREAT deal! When we booked our photographer, the package we selected was about that price, but we got no where near what you are getting! We added to the base package (to get about what you are getting) and it's costing us so much more and we still don't get the negatives.

  Thanks! That price is a little more than I planned on spending though. So, I'm still deciding. We're going to meet with Linda B. (lbfoto.com) She's got a great package for $1800. Maybe we can do our own thank yous and just try to add the parent albums. Or even try to do them ourselves. We'd be saving a lot of money. Has anyone thought of doing the parent albums themselves? What do you think about that?
