AW: Coozie favors

I am like 99% sure we are going to use these coozies as our favors:

Your thoughts???

To be honest, I wouldn't use something that was personalized for someone else.  It's cute for you and your future husband, but I probably wouldn't take it.  Do you have to put the monogram on it?

I see what PP is saying, but I disagree, if you were a close friend of mine, I would keep it as a memento....but in all reality I only use a coozie about twice a year on float trips, so I wouldn't mind it having your names on it.....it also wouldn't be used too much.  But, you know your friends better than us, so if it is something your friends and family are sure to use and enjoy go for it!  I have seen them be well received in my hometown.

I also dislike stuff with people's names & wedding date on it and think they would be better w/o that.

I'm not a fan of koozies, so I wouldn't like it at all. But you know your friends, and if they are koozie users, then it's a good favor. I would leave the names and date off, though.

I love them and we have gotten coozies at a few weddings we've been to.  I've always seen them go over really well, but maybe that's just our crowd.  We're doing coozies at the bar, but also are giving people edible favors at their place setting (mom said no to just coozies).  Many people like them because they're convenient to use at the wedding too.

But also 75% of our wedding lives at the beach and uses coozies almost every weekend from April-October.  You just need to know your crowd.

First off, congrats on the weight loss!

Second, I personally would not take the coozie with that personalization on it.

We did koozies. Instead of our names we put the island where we got married since many travelled for the wedding. I didn't notice if many were left, but people used them that night.

We're doing them for the RD/Welcome Party, since it's on the beach and we can't have glass, we'll have can beers. I'm also sort of koozie-obsessed and usually have one or two in my purse, so it sort of fits.

I think we are going to put the town and date on them, & skip the names.

If I was a best friend or cousin, I'd keep it and use it. If I was an 'and guest', or wasn't super close to you, I wouldn't even take it home. Personalized favors don't typically go over well.

I would use it.  We are kind of odd though.  We have a collection of beer koozies.  I know, classy.

Check Oriental Trading for ideas.  I actually entertained the idea of portable hand sanitizers.  I was going to order them from a company merchandise logo place.

Keep your drink cold and your hand warm :)

Like PP, we have a collection too (I think we have one in every color haha). I normally have 1 or 2 in my purse and FI usually keeps one in his back pocket when we go out. I would totally use it. We have a couple from other friends who have gotten married and they were a hit!

We plan on having the bartender give out coozies (we call them huggies) whenever someone orders a beer. We plan on personalizing them. We have a ton of personalized ones we've collected from weddings recently and we love them!

But we're like some of the PP - we have some in the car, one usually in my purse, some we keep in ice chests...

Like the others have said, I would see if you can keep your names and date off of it. I like the idea of putting the location of your wedding on there instead. And I think that depending on the crowd these could go over well.

I love coozies!  I would totally use this & keep it.  I live by the beach and we use them all the time, but my friends and I also bring them with us when we go to parties, or the bar, or out on the boat, etc.  It's true that your grandparents may not get as much use out of them as your friends though!  Also, if you are iffy about using your names, then like others said the location would be great.  I don't think putting the date on there would be so bad, because if it had the location and date, or even just the year, then people would remember when they were there... sort of like t-shirts that say stuff like "Key West 2008" or something.  I know when I look at old vacation t-shirts w/ the year on them I always think "wow! I cant believe that was 5 years ago, feels like yesterday!"

Can anyone recommend a site to get coozies?

kustomkoozies.com has been a disaster, waited until 3 days before we were supposed to receive the shipment to tell us they were out of the color.

Not very nice about it, either.
