Just bought 4,000 rose petals....DIY here I come!

So, I love the rose petal aisle runners but I know I can do it myself for a lot less so I went ahead and got a roll of tulle second hand from another bride (brand new) for $5 and just bought 4,000 white rose petals for $18 on ebay.

I'm going to just do the side aisle runners since I now have a terrible fear of slipping and falling (I'm the one who fell down the stairs and broke her hand last week) and I think it won't be as overwhelming and time consuming, especially since I'm doing some other DIY projects. HERE GOES NOTHING!

This past friday, I made 4 floral pomander balls for the aisles for super cheap AND made a Christmas ornament wreath for about $8 (Thanks Pinterest!). I've never been a super crafty person but I love a good deal and so far I'm doing a great job (minus a few hot glue gun blisters!) so I'll keep going!

If anyone wants to see pictures, I can post the pomander and wreath, I just need instructions on how to do it!

    You cant add pics from your phone but on the computer there is a tree icon when you are typing a post. That is how you insert a photo. Would LOVE to see them!!

    Sounds great. My only concern would be the tulle on the ground. Is the flooring in your venue sleek like wood? I would be worried about slipping on tulle. Or are you doing them as two bands going down the aisle? If thats the case, sounds great (I may steal your idea). ;)

    Im going to be making the aisle side runners too ! I havent started yet because Ive been working on the pomanders balls and ribbon wands..heres pic of my pomander ball..good luck with everything and post a pic or 2 !!

    I'm doing the runners just down the sides so we don't have to worry about anyone slipping or it getting bunched up while people walk on it.

    I will post pictures tonight of my pomander which looks very similar to your's MrsBad minus the hanging beads (which I love by the way!)

    I will definitely post pictures as I go too...hopefully the petals will get here quick and I can get started!

    Good luck. I toyed with the idea of doing one but decided my bead bouquets were time consuming enough.
