We'd love to help. Can you give us some pointers as to what budget you want to stay within and what style you're looking for?

You need to decide on a budget first. That will narrow down your selection quite a bit. Then decide on what type of style you like by looking through their websites. Then call a few you like and talk to them. You will be able to tell a lot about them by just chatting over the phone. You will eventually find one that you just 'click' with. For me, that was Kristie Bulach with Dolce Vita Photography. She is incredible to work with. She made everyone so comfortable and got amazing shots. We had 2 photographers fur 6 hours and paid under 2k.

also he told me he can give a free e-session of pics with you and your fiance so you can meet him first and try him out.

I'm really happy with our photographer, Stacey Downey. Her packages start at $2000. www.sadowney.com. If you are looking for someone who has a photojournalistic feel, I'd recommend checking her out.

Also, just a tip for when you are reaching out to people...ask to see an entire wedding. I learned that what people post on their blogs and what the full wedding shots look like can be two totally different things. We initially met with Stacey because her pictures were not super-posey and the casual shots at the reception were awesome. She did a great job with our e-pics.

My wedding photographer was Ingrid York of PhotoInk Photography. She will be the photographer I use for any photos I will need in the future.

This woman took the most amazing pictures I could imagine, and she was above and beyond professional. I didn't even need a day-of coordinator because of how well she worked with us.

Her prices are extremely reasonable, and she was really flexible with me when I couldn't pay right away due to lack of work.

I can not say enough wonderful things about this woman, and you would not be disappointed to work with her.
