Titanium Wedding Band?

A local jewelry store here is having a pretty awesome clearance sale.  So even though our wedding is two years away, my FI and I are thinking about going to get our wedding bands this weekend.  I have a quick opinion question:  my engagment ring is 14K white gold, and my band is going to be the same.  I am thinking of getting a titanium band for my FI, and he is down with that idea.  Would we look tacky wearing different metals?  Or is this OK?

    Not at all tacky. IMO He's gotta wear it forever, he has to like it. If that means it's different than yours, that's a-ok. FWIW Mine's white gold, my fiance's is tungsten carbide<-- also not resizable but considering his line of work it shouldn't be a problem. GL

    We went shopping yesterday and bought our bands.  FI picked out his own, and he actually picked a stainless steel one.  I personally wanted to get him something a little more expensive, but he insisted that it was his favorite, so we got it.  :D
