Does anyone else feel like they don't have enough work at work to take up a full 8 hour work day?

I always get ALL of my work done...usually by 3pm.  Then I get bored.  So I've been slowing down a little bit and spacing out the work so I don't sit around with NOTHING to do.

But I was wondering if this happens to other people?

    I'm the other way, waaaay to much to do so I end up trying to multi task.  I know if I really try I can get it all done by the end of the day but I'm feeling like a procrastinator.

    I have to bill everything I do so I do the same as you if I am slow but recently we've been so busy its been hard to keep up. Oh, and I get bored super easy but TK has helped with that!

    I used to have this issue...which is why I started coming to the boards more. Now I have more days that I don't get over here to see you gals than not. I'm becoming swamped...but I still make time to visit TK because you all preserve my sanity. One day at a time!

    I've had temp jobs like that. I temped for a construction company for two months and I always had a ton of stuff to do every single morning that took about three hours - file, fax, make copies, scanning, pay bills, etc. Then for about half the day, I sat around doing nothing. Thank God they didn't track my internet usage or I would have died from boredom! I watched shows on Hulu a lot, LOL.

    It ebbs and flows for me. Lately, it has been pretty slow so I have had time to tool around. This past week business has picked up, so I have to actually work at work. Yesterday I got irritated at a customer for calling while I was in the middle of typing up a post on here. My priorities may be out of whack a bit.

    I wish my job HAD an end. I would rather be given a task that has a start and finish rather than being told to do a process over and over until time was up.

    Haha, normally I'd be in a similar boat, but today I had a random meeting come up that turned from a 30 minute meeting to over 1.5 hours.  So I'm really behind, even though I'm almost at the end of my day.

    At the moment I have too much work. I'm working 10 to 12 hour days (and my bosses aint happy with that, but it's their fault so >:P)

    My job isn't like normal jobs.  If they do a trade, I have to deal with the trade details at that moment.  When they're not trading, I have nothing to do.  This is why I'm able to know all day everyday :)

    It's definitely up and down. There are times where I'm overwhelmed and times where I'm bored.

    I believe you can tell the bored days by my amount of posting here.  =)

    It sometimes feels this way, it really depends on the day and the time of year as well.  Since mid Decemeber and probably through tax time I will be pretty busy.

    Some days at work are like that. I just take my time doing my job on those days.Other days though are insane, and I end up working overtime to get stuff done. Fortunately I get paid for it. My last paycheque was awesome because I had like 12 hours of OT and 7 of it was time and a half!
