Normally I post questions for us to answer about ourselves, but I thought it would be fun to see how well we know each other.  Obviously we want everyone's privacy protected so just because you know someone's first and last name... PLEASE Don't post it!.

    3. Is she someone you would hang out with IRL? duh!
    4. Is she married yet? when did she get married? if not,in what month will she getting married? Married and I think in January. I might be off though. I do know it was 10 months ago!
    5. What branch of the military is she in? Or her BF/FI/H? Marines
    6. What are/were her wedding colors? Red and....
    7. What are her hobbies? Crafting, Baking (can't wait for my turn to have her cookies!), making tutus!
    8. Is she in school? or does she work full  time? School and works at Curves
    9. Name one of her pet peeves. People complaining about their husbands being gone for a night or two
    10. Say something nice about her. I enjoy you Sami. I think you are a great friend to others. I think you're caring and thoughtful and strong.

    Oh fun! In case someone beats me, this is for Hikester.

    1. Do you know her name (Again.. DON'T post it.. a simple yes or know will do)? I do!
    2. What was your first impression of her? Very fair and welcoming
    3. Is she someone you would hang out with IRL? I think so!! In fact, we live nearish each other....wonder if we'd g2g before she PCSes.
    4. Is she married yet? when did she get married? if not,in what month will she getting married? Married last...summer? 5ish months?
    5. What branch of the military is she in? Or her BF/FI/H? Oh snipes, I don't know if he's Navy or Marines.
    6. What are/were her wedding colors? Really bright gorgeous blues and reds/pinks?
    7. What are her hobbies? I know she reads a lot! And blogs!
    8. Is she in school? or does she work full  time? Works at a school! hehe
    9. Name one of her pet peeves. ooo0o this is a good one. Her dog takes up a lot of space on the couch.....haha I'm not sure what else, she's often so positive!
    10. Say something nice about her. Hike, I think you're an excellent mod, a wonderfully strong, intelligent woman and I hope you find a dream job in JAX!

    My first impression- I was intimidated by you! You were around a lot longer than I was and you know so much more than me. But now that I know you, I heart you!

    In case someone posts before me, I'm writing about Irish!

    1. Do you know her name (Again.. DON'T post it.. a simple yes or know will do)?  Yep!
    2. What was your first impression of her?  That she was a fellow CT Knottie who I was surprised to hear was also a military bride.  There doesn't seem to be many other military brides in CT, so it was kinda nice to have both those things in common.
    3. Is she someone you would hang out with IRL? For sure!
    4. Is she married yet? when did she get married? if not,in what month will she getting married? Two months ago!
    5. What branch of the military is she in? Or her BF/FI/H? Coast Guard
    6. What are/were her wedding colors? Chartreuse (which taught me that chartreuse is a green color)
    7. What are her hobbies? Knitting and pilates, and apparently making photobooks!
    8. Is she in school? or does she work full  time? Works as a super science-y person.
    9. Name one of her pet peeves. Uh... dunno?  She seems overall pretty easy going.  I guess she doesn't like stupidity, but that seems like a simple answer.  Most of us can't stand stupidity.
    10. Say something nice about her. I think she's really a great addition to this board.  She's pretty even-keeled, expresses herself well, and is generally very fair.  She can also be very funny and brings great humor to the board!

    I'm writing about C!!!

    1. Do you know her name (Again.. DON'T post it.. a simple yes or know will do)? I sure do!
    2. What was your first impression of her? I loved her immediately!! She was the first person ever to send me a PM, and we've been in pretty much constant contact ever since!
    3. Is she someone you would hang out with IRL? I'm trying to make that happen right now actually!
    4. Is she married yet? when did she get married? if not,in what month will she getting married? She's not yet, but she's getting married next September and it's super close to my birthday which makes me smile cause I got married super close to her birthday!!
    5. What branch of the military is she in? Or her BF/FI/H? Her FI is a JAG Officer in the Marine Corps
    6. What are/were her wedding colors? Cornflower blue, with some pink and gold and ivory (I'm not sure about that last one now that I think about it..)
    7. What are her hobbies? She's super crafty, Graphic design, working out, cooking (I think..) and her and her FI like to play board games!!
    8. Is she in school? or does she work full time? She works and her cruddy boss just got the axe!!
    9. Name one of her pet peeves. When people post pics of their wedding dresses and name the post "I said Yes! to this dress".. and many more.
    10. Say something nice about her. She's very much my adopted sister.  Seriously, if we could choose our siblings, I would pick her all day long.  She's always the first person I go to when I need to vent, or I need advice.  At the risk of getting too sentimental, I'll stop, but I love you C!!!

    I'm writing about Sami! 1. Do you know her name (Again.. DON'T post it.. a simple yes or know will do)? No... And I just realized that's the first "no" to this question so far. 2. What was your first impression of her? Haha, I remember her commenting on one of my very first posts about FI being on deployment, and it made me mad because it basically just said "remember it's harder on him, and don't cheat on him while he's gone." But now, I think she's awesome. 3. Is she someone you would hang out with IRL? Definitely. I think we'd get along! 4. Is she married yet? when did she get married? if not,in what month will she getting married? Yep, she got married in January I think. 5. What branch of the military is she in? Or her BF/FI/H? She was in the Navy, her H is in the Marines and he moves back to the States in just a few more months! 6. What are/were her wedding colors? Red and...blue maybe? 7. What are her hobbies? Being super crafty (and does a great job of refinishing furniture), baking lots of yummy stuff, working out, and talkin to all the wonderful girls on this board! 8. Is she in school or does she work full time? She's in school, but I don't remember what for, and works at Curves where she seems to do a kickbutt job! 9. Name one of her pet peeves. People who lie about being married because they want a PPD, and the women who say their "job" is being a military wife. Oh, and the idiotic comments some of the people in her classes make about things they know nothing about. 10. Say something nice about her. She's honest, funny, sassy, and fills the board with her southern charm. Everybody loves Sami! And I also love that we share the same sentiments about football!

    Aww C that just gave me a TOTAL self esteem boost! Sami, this is a great post! :) Hahah and Cal, you're totally right that stupidity is a pet peeve of mine. As are terrible drivers. I have intense road rage...... Laughing

    Hike, we should totally get a dirnk or coffee before you go! Is that the end of Jan?? Coming upppp, eek. Maybe right after the new year?

    The board has been kind of dead this morning and I'm starting to think that it was just because no one likes the post.. Oh well! I'm glad you ladies do!!

    He's not exactly in yet but I know he's trying to get in for dentistry. Hmm, I have a brain fart not sure if it's MC or Army or AF?. Sorry!

    I know she did makeup and insurance before and I believe now some kind of family services, adoption maybe?
