What's everyone thinking for BM dresses?

I told mine floor length, black dresses- they can be any style. And since I'm not impressed with DB's customer service, I'm not requiring them to go to DB either.

One of my BMs already got her dress when my date was still June 2012, she picked this dress in black:

We only have one bridesmaid, so we've looked at off the rack dresses together. Here's what we like:

My BM's are wearing short black dresses. As long as they're from the same line (color, material), they can choose any style they want.

I have four of my BM's wearing this style

And three are wearing this style

The purple in the bottom picture is the color of the dresses.

They are from DB. I have not had any issues so far (knocking on wood) they all should be in in about a month we shall see then

I haven't gotten too far with that yet because I haven't picked all my bridesmaids yet and I want to give them some say in it. I definitely want to do knee length dresses though. I'd rather them be matching just for simplicity sake, but if they all have different ideas, I'll give them a color and fabric type.

I want them in coral dresses just up to the knee maybe tea length I'm thinking no straps and nothing to tight as our wedding will be outside on beach! I have an idea in my head an Alfred Angelo's has it

Ideally I would like long black dresses with a touch of hot pink or bright pink on it. I can't seem to find anything with those colors in the mags or pinterest so hopefully some salons will have something for me!

You could get pink sashes to sew on around the waist, or just incorporate the pink into their bouquets and/or corsages. Just a thought :-)

My MOH (sister) already has hers as she was looking for the same style I was interested in for her senior prom in a couple months. She chose a floor length eggplant/dark purple color in chiffon. Its a one shoulder and has some chunky beading/jewels around the bust area. Its a stunning dress and looks amazing on her. For the other two BM i'm thinking either the same material and possibly the same color. I can't decide if I want them in floor length or in tea length as they are our younger sisters (15 and 13). =/

My bridesmaid and MOH will be wearing a long back, strapless sweetheart dress. It looks amazing on both of them, and it will fit in with our formal theme. My MOH (sister) is wearing bright pink, sparkly shoes and my other BM will be wearing black shoes, and their bouquets will be a little different as well.

This is what I'm thinking; tea length from David's Bridal in the color "cognac"... originally I was going to go with a jewel tone (blue or green)... but I didn't want the dress to clash with the flowers... so I just pulled a different color from the peacock feathers!

We're having the girls each wear a different dress in the same fabric (satin) and color (royal blue). I have 5 'maids, including the MOH. My MOH wants a longer dress so she'll probably have floor length but all the rest of the girls will have knee length. Going through David's because the girls are spread out all over the place and the colors will be consistent this way! I want them to have the opportunity to pick a dress that flatters them and that they feel comfortable in!
