Washington-Seattle

What's considered Seattle?

I'm the mod on the other Washington board (the suuuper quiet and dead one), so hi!

I'm thinking about moving posts with questions about services on the west side from my board over to this board. What do you ladies consider Seattle? Right now, there are posts from Woodinville, Port Orchard, etc without helpful replies. I'm thinking about moving them over here, but I'm not sure if that's appropriate.

Let me know what you think. Thanks!

I consider most of western wa from Tacoma to Bellingham and the Eastside Seattle :)

Listing all the cities would take a long time, but ppl post about the southend to bellingham on the regular. I moved over from the WA  board since it was so quiet, I check ocasionally for posts I can answer

I feel like Bellingham is a stretch! I think the places this board is best for is more like . . . pretty much just Seattle. When people post about Tacoma, somewhere on the penninsula, etc., I really don't have any opinion about those places. Not that I would mind having the posts on here! I just wouldn't be helpful :)

The only one I know that is getting married in Bellingham is Firstimers so I included it since she can help out with those questions.

I know Tacoma to Everett and the Eastside but not on the peninsula for sure.

Firsttimers posts occasionally on the other board too. But you guys are closer to her than we are over there...not that there's a lot of us or anything. Haha.

I'll move obvious west side threads over to this board from now on. Thanks, ladies!

    hi.
I'm bellingham, Like sparent mentioned :] It's definitely not "Seattle" but most of my vendors are from Everette-- />Seattle, so I think I count!! Actually I became more active on this board, because NO ONE is on the Regular WA board.. haha...

yay for us jales! haha.. Yeah technically I live 30 minutes south.. but we picked bellingham as a venue for the OOT to see a nice hippie city and since I'm there every day for college, it's easy to get things done and work with the vendors.

</div><div>Love it!! DH jokes about how I'm now a bad hippie. Married to a Marine and all :) I miss Bellingham. Spent 4 wonderful years there!! Is Casa Que Pasa still around? I know a few years back they were shut down for not paying taxes....yikes! Then reopened, but under new ownership, but the potato burritos just weren't the same :(

haha I'll have to check for you! We live in Mt Vernon (we bought a houes to split the difference between my commute and his commute to Whidbey) so I don't spend a lot of time in Bham outside of my classes. Luckily my Navy man is also pretty liberal.. in fact he's waaaay more liberal than I am, haha! We are known as the tree huggers in the squadron :o) I'm okay with it haha!
What were you doing in Bham for four years? Did you go to WWU as well?

<div>Uh... Tacoma and Seattle are pretty much next door neighbors, so I'm pretty sure that counts for something.</div>
