  I'd love to hear if you find any places.  I am going to try Clasic Bride by Eva in Strattford.  I'm also thinking of looking at Allure Bridal in Stamford (I have no clue what their prices are).

  I would look at Marie Antoinette's in Derby, Lucille's in Orange and Dynamite Design in Wallingford. Dynamite is where my sister-in-law got her dress and our BM dresses--- very reasonable, lots of designers and super helpful!

  If you're willing to venture further north there is Bride's To Be (http://bridestobe-cons.com/) in Glastonbury, CT.  They refer to themselves as a consignment shop, but over 85% of their dresses are actually recently discontinued samples from boutiques all over the US.  There are also some dresses that have been donated and worn only once, but a majority of their stock is never been worn.  I have a friend who got her dress there and she said not only were they super helpful, but once they get an idea what you're looking for if you don't see anything the day you're there they can call you if anything comes in since the get new gowns in regularly.

  I am getting mine at Julie Allen Bridal in Newtown. It is a family owned business and they have great customer service. You should check them out.
