    Tonight: DH and I are having a Dexter marathon on our new furniture that should be delivered between 11am - 2pm! We missed this season due to wedding planning so now we're hoping to catch up [: -- and finish TY cards!

    Tomorrow: Macys is having a sale (but that's not a surprise..) and I have to return some things so I'll do that while DH is working. Then in the evening I'm going to my sister's bf's house to watch the MSU game. Go green!

    Sunday: I'm helping my mom's friend's mother (so, an elderly woman) put up Christmas decorations out in Warren, and she's paying me so that's nice. Then DH and I are headed to BBB in the evening to buy some stuff off our registry.

    We are putting up our Christmas Trees today. One that has the family ornaments on it and then the extra pretty one that I will decorate alone (I always wanted a real tree that was color coordinated)

    Saturday my Aunt is turning 51 so we are having a birthday dinner for her and Sunday spend some QT with DH before he leaves out of town for a week for work.

    Today is my birthday so I get to leave work early and my FI is taking me out to dinner.

    Tomorrow we are putting up our tree and decorating a little bit.  My mom is taking me out to dinner also.

    Sunday just working on job apps, grocery shopping, getting a massage (my present to myself), and going out to dinner with some friends.

    Today:  Work for half a day and then it's our holiday party!  DH and I are going shopping for some holiday decorations.

    Tomorrow:  Putting up said holiday decorations and watching the Spartans in the Big 10 Championship game.  Go Green!

    Sunday:  Relaxing.

    I think this is our only free weekend in all of December so I'm going to try to enjoy it as much as possible.

    Tonight is decorating our Christmas tree.

    Tomorrow I ma heading over to my sister's place to celebrate her 30th birthday.  She wants to go shopping during the day and then to dinner that evening and then possibly the bar (although I may head home before the bar, not a bar girl anymore).

    Sunday work on Christmas cards and then visit some in-town friends for dinner.

    Vegas! Leaving tomorrow, coming back Tuesday. The sad part is that I'm not feeling all that prepared or excited. Too much going on at work and temps are only supposed to be in the 40s (definitely not the desert weather I was planning on!) But, it'll be good to get away with a couple girlfriends.

    Today: work until 8:30pm ugh. Meeting FI for dinner afterwards and then heading home to put up our tree. We just bought a new one this year, so hopefully I like it!

    Tomorrow: FI is heading to Indiana to go to the state game. I will miss him but am happy to enjoy some alone time. FIL's offered to buy us a new couch for Christmas (ours is a piece) so I am going to a couple furniture stores with my mom. Then going to a friends jewelry party.

    Sunday: Some more furniture stores and nothing!! its going to be great. This is also my only weekend in December with no plans really, definitely going to enjoy it!

    Meegles- so jealous about your vegas trip!! FI and I are dying to go back, bummer that it will only be in the 40s. The last time I was there it was about 110 everyday and I looked and felt like a hot mess the whole time.

    Tonight after work I am going bowling with some friends for a fundraiser.

    Tomorrow I hope to go shopping with my mom. I don't wear face makeup ever and she is going to help me find some! I am a loser I know haha.

    Sunday I think I am going to my cousin's baptism and then lunch with the family.

    Happy Birthday Meg!!! DH is headed to Indy, so, Im laying low this weekend. My sister is teaching me to make gnocchi and in return I'm teaching her to make biscotti. I'll probably get some shopping done, too. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

    Good morning, Happy Friday!

    Right as I went to type this, DH sat down next to me and said he has a plan for today and wants to get my approval.  It makes me sound so controlling but he knows I'm the planner and figured I already had a schedule in place for today. 

    Today: Wake up late (DH has been working until 3 am so we sleep in until 10-11 right now), going out to lunch, bank to deposit money, paying rent and running some miscellaneous errands. Then cleaning up the house a bit.

    Tomorrow: Picking up the local sunday newspaper for coupons and ads (it comes out Saturday here which is weird), planning our weekly shopping trip and working on our meal plan.  I will also probably wrap a few more presents.

    Sunday: Church in the morning, going out to breakfast and grocery shopping later in the day.

    Reading about my weekend I am becoming aware of what a lame old married couple we are...oh well.

    Oh, give us an update when you get back!  I am considering that as a place to get married (but nothing set in stone as of yet)!

    FI has a truck to unload today so not sure if he will want to do anything tonight.  Tomorrow is the tree lighting ceremony in Clinton Township and he wants to attend that.

    Meg: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Hope it's the best one yet!

    Today: I worked this morning and I'm contemplating a nap before tonight. FI and I are going to his moms house for a memorial for his dad. I can't believe it's been a year already..

    Tomorrow: sleeping in and then helping my brother and FI finish our new flooring. Then babysitting at night for a few hours. Hopefully getting some quality time with FI afterwards. 

    Sunday: probably sleeping in again and cleaning up around the house. Later in the afternoon we have FI's brothers birthday party. 

    Somewhere in there I need to contact some more photographers and start looking more into invites, flowers, and linens. I also want to start on some DIY christmas gifts.

    Hope everyone has a great weekend.
