Day-Of Coordinator

The venue for the wedding for our daughter and her fiance requires a day-of coordinator.  The planners I have spoken with are really trying to break the bank.  Does anybody have a successful, reasonable suggestion?

    That doesnt sound kosher that they 'require' you to hire a vendor. Not that there's anything wrong with haveing a coordinator, because its always a great help, but for a venue to require it bothers me. I would talk with them about it and convince them otherwise.

    If you don't mind me asking, what's your budget? My wedding planners are offering $200 off of their Day of Coordination packages, but for Broward County weddings only. I received their services at a discounted rate, but I'd imagine that their DOC is reasonable.

    My wedding planners are Chanda and Amber from Liz and Lex Events. They are amazing and I don't know where we would without them. They have helped us find everything we need even to the smallest things. I highly recommend them and you get both of them for the price of one. Other suggestions are Danielle Pearson a lot of former knotties have used her. Michelle Tandron again, another knottie fave.

    I love Danielle Pearson. She has been wonderful so far and is much more then a DOC. I almost didn't hire a DOC due to the extra expense, but I asked Danielle if she'd be willing to come down a bit if we take out the rehersal  (since ours is small anyway) and she was super sweet and willing to work with me. Strongly recommend! Tell her Jessica & Lee from Mass sent you!
