Monday...blah

Good morning! I can't believe it's already Monday again! I hope everyone had a great weekend!

This past weekend was probably the best I've had in a while. One of my friends that I haven't seen in a while came to visit. We went to a vineyard & a minor league baseball game. DH & I spent most of yesterday relaxing :-) This week is  a short week for DH. He has Friday off & he's taking a vacay day for Thurs. We have a friend & my cousin coming to town tomorrow-Sunday. DH's B-day is Sat. & we're going to the Ravens game. It should be another fun weekend! I can't wait!

    Morning. . .sooo still not used to getting up early. Why on earth did I sign up for a morning class?!!?

    Krystal, sounds like an action packed weekend and week! I hope you guys have fun and Happy Birthday to your hubby!

    We pulled DH's Surprise party on Saturday thanks to Jessica's Hubby causing a distraction and getting him out of the house. Fun times! Played 'Last word, Taboo & Ruckus' until 2am.  DH said he reallly reallly enjoyed the party and having fun with friends :o) Success!

    Alrighty. . .this week = Class, Equestrian Team Meeting Tonight, Tryouts Friday, My riding job and MAYBE meeting the new neighbors if they ever come back :o)

    we went blueberry picking in asheville...our dogs ran ahead of us and stirred up a bee hive....by the time we got there, the bees were in a frenzy. They stung chad on both legs...we broke out running and they chased us for a bit. 

    he was still up for blueberry picking. I'm glad it was him instead of me, because I would have been ready to turn around and head back to the car if it was me...forget the blueberries!! :)

    we ended up with a TON of wild blueberries- this is the perfect time of year to go if any of you are looking for something to do.

    Good Morning.  Hope everyone has a great day.

    Today would be my mother's 50th birthday.  And we're (finally) putting invitations in the mail!  And I have to work all day.  Fun times.

    Ack, those bees sounds scary.

    But Beka, sounds like the party was a success. Hope your week goes by smoothly.

    And Krystal, sounds like you had a great weekend. Hope this one is just as good.

    My DH left yesterday for a conference in Seattle. He'll be gone till Saturday. I'm just hoping I can get through the week. Today is my first day of teaching a biology lab at UNCW (I teach another one on Thursday). I've never taught before in my life so I'm kind of (really really) nervous. And lab doesn't start until 5pm so I have all day to sit & think about it and get even more nervous. I think I have everything ready, but still - ACK! Wish me luck.

    Good Morning!

    First day of recovery from bachelorette weekend at the beach.  It was an amazing weekend...we had a blast but I'm sooooo happy to be back home.  I don't think my body can handle that kind of excitement anymore...haha.  Getting as much hours of sleep over 3 days as you normally would in 1 night is not kosher. 

    Catching up on work now...its going to be a long day.  I'm already ready to be able to get to bed tonight.    Have a great kick start to the week everyone!
    Favorite thing about fall...Florida Football!

    Good morning.  This weekend I helped Beka with her H's surprise party and used my H as a decoy :)  Then we really didn't do much else.

    Oh, I've been busy lately so I don't think I announced on here that...I passed my defense and so I finished my master's degree!!!!!  So now I'm working as a research tech for my advisor and also working part-time at a vet.  So I'll be spending the week analyzing data and cleaning out kennels :)

    Malea I'm glad you had fun! My bachelorette was a blast too! Charleston flooded on Friday but apparently that happens all the time and by the time we went out for dinner the water had gone down. We had a hotel right in the market area downtown and it was so much fun. I was sorry more girls couldn't make it, and as always there was a little girl-drama (happens, like the flooding) but it was seriously fun.

    I cannot believe we're getting married two-months from today! But I still have to work and stuff so I guess I'll get on that. :)

    I had a blast at Beka's for her H's surprise bday party.  I was getting very tired nearing 2 am.  My parents came over yesterday to help with the invitations.  However, it was more like a visit since we didn't get much accomplished.  Oh well!  Always glad  to see my mom and dad.  They will be going out this week no matter what!!!

    Mary, I'm thinking of you!

    Glad yall had fun!  FI was having his weekend in Edisto Island with some of his guys and he was telling me about the crazy rain down that way.  I was so blessed because all of my ladies were able to make it and they were spread from west of Asheville to New Bern.  We had a little minor girl drama too...it happens.  Too much estrogen...lol
