NoVa Photographers

Any recommendations for photographers in the NoVa area? I feel like I've been researching photographers for days, but all the photographs are beautiful so it's hard narrowing down our list to contact!

We've decided to do engagement pictures in Old Town Alexandria and we're getting married at a vineyard, so any expertise in those areas is a bonus! Thank you! :)

    Definitely look into Martin Torre (www.torrephotography.com)!  We loved all the pictures we got from him, and he was so amazing day-of!  Very unobtrusive and able to catch many shots without you/guests even realizing he was there.  We didn't need prints or albums from him, so we got his least expensive package, described below:

    Bronze $800.00
    • Up to six consecutive hours of coverage
    • One copy of your high resolution images on disc
    • No limit on the number of locations visited for photos on your wedding/event day
    • No limit on the number of images we capture on your wedding/event day
    • Your wedding/event images posted online for you to share with family and friends

    Can't recommend him enough!  Also, we have a good friend who does wedding photography (www.bezosphoto.com). She's a fantastic photographer and an all-around wonderful person.  Hope this helps!

    If you go with him or contact him, maybe let him know you heard about him from Karen and Bobby.  Don't know if it will do anything for you or for us, but hey, why not?

    Tracy Timmester is AMAZING. She is our wedding photographer and we had our wedding pics done in Old Town as well. She is based out of that area so knows the best spots and is soo creative and fantastic. We are also getting married at a vineyard. Hope this helps!

    Big fan of Carmen Wang Photography.  Their photos are getting better and better!  Make sure you check their blog for recent wedding photos.

    Check out Daniel McGarrity.  He is a true professional and we are so happy with our engagement photos.  We also had them taken in Old Town and he knows all the right spots and makes you feel very comfortable.  He lives in Baltimore but will travel for you.  Ask about any package deals he has from bridal shows to get a discount.
