Where is a good place to shop for veils? I need one and also looking for a pretty crystal head band...headband, NOT tiara! Any ideas??

Go to bridal stores to figure out what you want, then save yourself a TON of money and go to etsy.com and get something made for you.  I had a $450 designer sash for my dress replicated for $89.  I also got two gorgeous clips for my hair for $90 and I'll probably be able to get my two-tiered fingertip length veil for around $50.  Good luck!

I agree with PP.  I got all my accessories from etsy.  I found earrings and a bracelet I liked at Mia's bridal and had something similar made on etsy and saved $100.

I second dm, I got my veil from Etsy for $35, which included shipping. The cheapest I found the veil I wanted was $100 at Mia's Bridal, and I was able to customize everything (color, number of tiers, edge finish, etc.)

I ended up getting my necklace at Charming Charlie's in Town Center. It looks nice (I think), and it was only $15. They have TONS of accessories there (including all kinds of headpieces), and it's organized by color, which I find really helpful.

I have a friend of mine who is local here and specializes in making headpieces and veils, as well as garters and ties/bowties for groomsmen. If you'd like her info I'd be happy to provide it to you - you can e-mail me at jenifriend(at)hotmail(dot)com should you be interested!
