NEED ADVICE ON A VENUE OPTION

I am helping my really good friend plan her wedding in California (I am in Massachusetts) and she is looking into the amazing Saddlerock Ranch in Malibu - does anyone have advice, or insight into this place?  Raves or Rants?  Anything that they can help me with?  Please let me know!

    When I looked into this place, I thought the place looked AMAZING in photographs.  However, I do know that they have a pretty steep venue rental cost ($5000+) and you'll have to coordinate and bring in all the vendors separately.  It was just more than I was willing to take on for someone also planning a wedding also from the east coast (not to mention a wee bit out of my budget).  By all means, everyone's different, do check it out for yourself - it never hurts to know the specs just in case!
