"Groomsman" gifts?

Hey all!  FI and I are getting married in October, and we have all girls in our wedding party except for my two brothers and her son.  We are really struggling as what to get them for gifts.  Does anyone have any ideas?  We're looking to stay within the $20-30 range.

Thanks!!

Re: "Groomsman" gifts?

  • Just a thought, maybe doing a gift to charity in their name? Depending on the size of the wedding party $20-30 can add up fast. We are having wearable white knots at ours, but there are so many other great charities that involve same-sex rights/equality issues, if that is something you would be interested. The knot has some cool stuff at there shop too.
Either way, your wedding party should be grateful for whatever you decide.

  • We gave my son (dude of honor) and my daughter (maid of honor) Swiss army knives.  Then the only issue was getting them to stop checking out the blades during the reception.  ;-)
  • Try to go with something they like verses the standard gifts. Plus if they're not labled wedding party gifts, they may be cheaper.

  • I'm having the same challenge. We're thinking about monogrammed flasks for some of the bridal party members. I like the swiss army knife idea!
  • Knives, flasks...boring. Please, no offense to those who chose to do so, they are fine gifts, but we are looking for something more original. Love the idea of charity! Any more "out of the box" ideas?
  • We are giving our bridesmen cuff links, shot glasses and are paying for their chucks that they will be wearing during the ceremony and recpetion
