Productive day

Today my mom and I went and did some wedding things aince her work is on holiday. We got so much done. I'm very happy about it all.

1. We had the cake tasting and loved it. Originally we were going to do a bunch a mini cookies, but now we decided to do the cake thing. The lady that I ordered the cake from went out of her way to make a tiramisu cake for us since that is our favorite flavor and it's amazing. She totally understood our vision for the cake, which will have pretty extensive decoration, and is coming in way under what I expected budget wise. The design will have detail from my dress sash, which is kind of an art deco look, and then middle layer will have elements from the invites that Fi designed, so it will really bring everything together. I couldn't be more excited about it.

2. Finally booked the tuxedos at Men's Wearhouse, and paid everyone's deposit. This way all the men need to do in the next month is go in and get fitted, but don't need to worry about anything money related.

3. Purchased our escort cards because we found a great deal.

4. Went to MAC and got our makeup done, and then bought all of the product so I can do it myself and have all new stuff. All I have to do now is figure out what lashes I want, and then pop in there the day of and have them put them on. It's just a few blocks away from our hair venue so it will be easy. My mom even started crying when my makeup was bring done, which I suppose is a good sign.
