vendor tips

I know that tipping is appropriate and common for hair/make up stylists and limo drivers. What about photographers? Also, since my reception hall is charging us 20% gratuity, should I tip even more? I'm not sure if the person I have worked with so far will be at the reception because I remember her saying that there will about 3 managers on site. Also what about those who help us at the church, such as a music director and alter boys?

We did not tip our photographer or DJ (both proprieters of their own company). Our hall included gratuity, so we didn't tip them either. At our church, we didn't use their organist, but there was a set fee for that. We coordinated our own music and brought in our own trombone quartet. We paid them, but did not tip in addition.

The only vendor who we tipped was my hair stylist. We didn't use a limo.
