Favor Ideas - Homemade Hard Candy

So I have been playing around with different ideas for my favors. For a while I had thought cookies, but then I came up with the idea for hard candy of the homemade variety. The old-fashioned kind. I have made 2 batches so far and I like the way today's batch turned out:


The previous batch was raspberry flavored and I didn't much care for it. I used a bit of honey to flavor and color them and it turned out perfect. I got to thinking that they were perfect, then I realized. I'm probably the only person who wants honey flavored candy. So I'm on an epic quest for the perfect candy flavor, and I need your help. 

What is your favorite flavor?

    root beer old fashion candy is always yummy. - my personal favorite flavor though would be strawberry or grape.

    I'm right there with mancila..  I think root beer is uck, but I do realize I'm part of the pretty tiny minority with that.

    I think it would go over well.. or strawberry, or cherry. :)

    I'm not a huge fan of root beer but I do like your original honey flavor! I would also vote strawberry though if you wanted to give some variety.
