Hotel Blocks of Rooms

Hi all,

I am getting married at The South Shore Pavilion on Sept. 2 and am looking for hotels to contact regarding room blocks.  I would like hotels that are right downtown/ near my sight and aren't crazy expensive.  Ah, and include parking.  I was originally going to go with Aloft and I told them the rate I was willing to go up to and they agreed to it, but forgot to mention they also charge $25 a night to park.

    I'd look into hotels that are farther away but offer a free shuttle service.  That worked well for my wedding.

    Comfort Inn
    Residence Inn
    Pfister
    Intercontinental
    Double Tree
    Hotel Metro
    The Hilton

    As for the free parking thing - you're just going to have to call and ask.  The websites might tell you as well.  I think your guests expect to pay for parking when it comes to booking a hotel room though.

    I'm not sure about parking, but the Iron Horse is in the 3rd Ward.  That is the closest you will find.

    I'm getting married the day after you and having pics at South Shore.  Our reception is at the South Shore Yacht Club!!

    We are getting married at the Pfister and have hotel blocks at the Pfister, Intercontinental and The Hilton.  Since they are all Marcus properties we were able to work with 1 person for all of the room blocks.  Parking is an additional charge for each of these hotels though.
